Longstanding vascular practice evolves into a comprehensive cardiovascular destination with the addition of interventional cardiology services
Heart & Vascular Partners is excited to celebrate an important new chapter for one of our Colorado partner practices. After more than 30 years serving patients throughout the Rocky Mountain region as a leader in vascular care, Vascular Institute of the Rockies has officially become CardioVascular Institute of the Rockies (CVIR).
The transition reflects a significant expansion of the practice’s capabilities, bringing comprehensive cardiac and vascular care together under one integrated team. The launch is accompanied by the addition of Dr. Jawad Kiani, a Mayo Clinic-trained Interventional Cardiologist who joins the organization as Director of Cardiology and Director of Structural Heart Disease.
For the first time in the practice’s history, CVIR patients will have access to a full spectrum of cardiovascular services, including vascular disease management, venous care, preventative cardiology, interventional cardiology, and advanced structural heart therapies.
The expanded model recognizes the close connection between heart and vascular health and creates a more seamless experience for patients requiring coordinated cardiovascular care. By bringing these specialties together within a single practice, CVIR is positioned to deliver comprehensive treatment plans and improved continuity of care.
Dr. Kiani brings extensive experience in interventional and structural heart disease, along with a patient-first philosophy that aligns closely with CVIR’s longstanding reputation for clinical excellence.
The launch of CardioVascular Institute of the Rockies represents an exciting step forward for cardiovascular care in Colorado and reinforces the practice’s commitment to meeting the evolving needs of patients and referring providers across the region.
